York Barbell HG7 Multigym

I own the previous York Perform Multigym, which is the same but for colour and minor changes to seat and weight stack shroud. Owned for 5 years now and not missed a training session on it! Best item I have ever bought! This York Multigym was easily constructed by myself. Spanners are provided but I used my socket set. Small part required to put the Multigym together come in blister packs. Each blister pack pertains to a page in the construction manual. Apart from this being an excellent Multigym, two other main reasons to buy it are the 100kg weight stack and it's small footprint! You will need that 100kg weight stack as you develop and I can assure you the Multigym handles lifting it with ease, with only slight stretch in the cables. The small footprint is a big selling point, this Multigym will fit in any room! The pulley bearings are sealed but I do grease the Pec Deck, Chest Press and leg extension/curl fixing points from time to time. The operation of this multigym is commercial gym equipment standard, very smooth. I have replaced one cable in 5 years and it came from York Barbell within days and at an excellent price. My Multigym still looks brand new too. I still have the 24 hour key to my gym I used to go to, but have never been since I bought this Multigym. I perform all exercises and more than I used to perform at the gym. One tip, face the weight stack for Lat Pull Down and don't forget to stand on the foot plates when using the low pulley station. I can't stress how much I like my York Multigym, it's great and so are reviews from owners and testers. Bargain at the price!

Easy to construct. Robust, stable and just works well. Even better once it’s ‘run in’ as the plates smooth out (some may rub on the slide bar a bit at the start). No issues at all - it’s getting a lot of use!

Great bit of kit, very versatile. Set aside quiet time to assemble but instructions are clear and everything labelled. Great for all the family to use.
