York Fitness 1" Spinlock EZ Curl Bar

I've had this bar for quite a few months now and It's been great for the price paid. I've attached a photo to show the actual shape in terms of the bend as i have seen other bars with the curve a lot less defined so I for one was glad to see this as it is more like the bars at the gym.

Needed a bar to add to my weight section if my home gym. Chose this due to price and versatility. Hadnit verified by someone who knows more than me and pressed buy. It arrived in good time amd I have used it several times. It's heavier than I anticipated but has good grips. Recommended.

Perfect addition to my dumbbells at home. Have been using now for the last month and find it very versatile. EZ Curls to hit the biceps also can do narrow or wide. I like to think of it as having 3 grips: the knurled part for neutral then narrow and wide.Doing reverse curls as well so much easier as I had golfers elbow a month ago but the bar angles have allowed me to train Arms without complaint so its improved a lot.Also used for OHP, Zercher squats, Tricep Extensions, Floor Press, Bent over rows, Reverse Bent over rows, RDLs.The only Caveat is if your biggest plates are 5kg you won't rack it higher than 60kg total because you run out of space. I need to get some bigger plates now 20kg or 25kg to really utilise its load capacity

Good, sturdy and solid bar.Has some weight to the bar too, only issue is as known, the spinlocks dont hold in place for long

After having used this for a few months, on average using this 9 sets a week I'm noticing discolouring, possibly rusting where I've been holding the bar. One of the spinlocks has slightly threaded and I now have to force this past the blockages to keep the it tight everytime I change the weights.So yeah, it's ok, it's doing the job but it's turning up to work unmotivated and like it just wants the money before banging out before the clock.

The bar is exactly what I was looking for.. solid.. right shape.. great. The locks .. and this applies to the spin locks generally.. not just on this product... are useless .. no stop coming loose. This isn’t news to anyone who’s used them before though.. I get round some of the problem on this bar / dumbbells etc with spring locks or small jubilee clips 👍

Great bar! Good size, comfortable to use, I've used up to 50kg on it with no issues and good value for money.

Overall good but 1 end of lock nut constantly becomes loose.

No problems quality product for home workout. I use them for bicep curls ,reverse curls, drag curls, tricep extension on a bench and from the floor a variation of a pullover and a close grip chest press resting the EZ bar on a bench .

Better than the ones at the local gym

Got this as I've already got the dumbbells,so I can use my existing weights. Tends to loosen now and then so you gave to re tighten but apart from that cant fault the bar itself. Comfy and easy to use

Get the spring clips istead of the spin locks. you will thank me.

Well made solid steel bar well made feels good in the hands takes the strain off the wrist during curls and the spin locks feel smooth and good fit on the threaded ends

My York ez curl bar arrived without any spin lock collars making it necessary to purchase additional ones from a local sports store at a cost of £12:00.Not impressed!

The product it's self was perfectly fine however the box it came in was ripped open before even getting delivered

Feels really sturdy and already feeling the great support on my wrists. Great buy for those with weak wrists :) Also can perform new exercises with more control than with dumbbells 👍🏽

Only thing I can say that's bad is spinlocks get loose but not a big problem. overall good ez curl bar
