To start they look fantastic, very high quality, they are roughly 20% bigger than the 10kg plates. They have a fantastic black almost glossy finish to them, very clearly I missed weight on them, and slide easily into the 1inch bar.

York Iron Plates 4 x 5Kg==================The york sets tend to be my goto weights and now that covid has settled down, items sold directly by Amazon as opposed to resellers seem to have stabilised a bit. Even though these came up as out of stock but available for purchase, I took a gamble and just bought them but was lucky enough for it to come up quite quickly. The newer style of these iron plates have changed design a smidge - I personally find the older ones slightly easier to pick out to read when there are a pile of plates on the floor, but that's just my personal taste. Yes the plates do come with very minor manufacturing defects, mainly just cosmetic flecks, but overall built to a very good standard. I also noticed the newer plates come with the centre treated much better than the older ones - this is usually where I get the most wear and tear on my older plates. Bought for 34.99 (20kg - 4 x 5kg). I’m just waiting to see if the york 7.5kg or 10kg plate sets become available again, fingers crossed.

Delivery Times
Parcel deliveries will be between 3 – 5 working days days.

2 man delivery and pallet orders is up to 10 days, you will be contacted directly by the carrier to organised a day.
