How to Use Drop Pads

Follow these simple steps for optimal performance

Position the Pads

Place both drop pads on a flat, stable surface where you'll be performing your lifts. Position them shoulder-width apart or slightly wider, aligned with where the barbell ends will land.

Load Your Barbell

Load your barbell with weight plates as normal. Ensure plates are secured with collars. The drop pads are designed to protect both your floor and the loaded plates from impact damage.

Perform Your Lift

Execute your exercise (deadlifts, cleans, snatches, etc.) with proper form. The pads provide a safe landing zone, but always maintain control throughout the movement.

Drop Safely

When completing your lift, allow the barbell to descend onto the drop pads. The high-density foam absorbs the impact, protecting your equipment and significantly reducing noise.

Reset for Next Rep

The pads will compress slightly on impact and quickly return to their original shape. Reset your position and continue your training session with confidence.

Delivery to UK Mainland addresses (Excluding remote Scotland / Highlands / Northern Ireland )

Standard Delivery charge is £6.95*

£4.95* for small "spare parts" orders.

Up to £13.90* for "Large mixed pallet/2 man" delivery orders

Delivery Times

Parcel deliveries will be between 3 – 5 working days days.

"**Please note that orders may take up to 3-5 working days to arrive from the dispatch date, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Orders might also arrive in multiple deliveries. We will always aim to process your order as quickly as possible."

2 man delivery and pallet orders is up to 10 days, you will be contacted directly by the carrier to organised a day.

As deliveries are carried out by third parties York Barbell will not be held liable for any deliveries that fall outside this timescale.

If ordering multiple items please note your order maybe fulfilled via a number of different carriers with product arriving on different days.

Delivery Restrictions

We deliver to England, Wales and lower Scotland.

At this time we are not able to deliver to remote Scotland or non UK mainland locations.

Other than smaller Royal Mail orders (under 2kg) you will be required to sign for deliveries.
