I've owned a fair few spin lock dumbbells in my time and York never disappoints. These have to be some of the most comfortable dumbbells to hold that I've ever used and the nut actually seems to hold tight despite me loading 20kg on one bell. And look at the finish! Simply gorgeous.

The only question I have, and can't seem to find out, is how much weight can these bars hold?

Great service from York Fitness and swift delivery. This 30 KG Dumbbell Set is my second set from York Fitness so I was able to compare the two, the first set came in a box with company logos, the second box came in an unmarked box, ok no big deal, my first set looked brand new, my second set looked used with chips and scratches along with sticky marks. If the second set had been used, why not just say so. Obviously I will be keeping this set, but I thought you should know just in case you didn’t. Of course this hasn’t put me off buying again from York Fitness I’ll just ask if what I’m buying is new. Thank for your service.

These are a gift for someone so they haven't been used yet.. The parcel arrived battered and split open, we could actually see metal, fortunately all of the contents were still in the box but could easily have spilt out!

Great quality weights and well designed. Think they've made them more compact since the last ones I had but this is a good thing. Packaging on delivery could have been a bit more robust but box just about held up.

These dumbbells are well made but I was so disappointed when I saw that they were made in China. No employment for UK citizens and more profit for the owners and shareholders. If we don’t have employment opportunities where will the money come from in order to purchase the products that enhance the bottom line for the merchants?
